The lens of photographer and writer Mike Grandmaison takes us to the Canadian plains and remnants of the past now standing watch as Sentinels of the Prairie. Such lonely rustic beauty brings a mix of emotions to Mike, who says each structure or left-behind item seems to tell a story. Among the places he visits is Inglis, Manitoba, where this community restored a row of five historic grain elevators.
