An unexpected treasure
Dear ##firstname[Friend]##,
##\keycode.DonorContentHTML##

When Tom Roose bought a box full of old photographs in an Oregon antique shop, he had no idea that he held a treasure in his hands. Turns out the photographs were taken by Lady Evelyn Cameron, an English aristocrat who blazed trails all over Montana’s badlands in the 19th century.

You can read all about Tom’s journey to discover the story behind these photos in the January issue of Country Extra. If you aren’t a subscriber to Country Extra, check out what you are missing.

And finally, be sure to visit us on Facebook and share your winter photos with other talented photographers who share your love of Country.

For a laugh

My 2-1/2-year-old twin great-granddaughters pick up lots of big words, but sometimes get a bit confused about their meaning. One day, Haley’s grandpa noticed her deep in thought and asked if something was wrong.
“No,” she said. “I’m just constipating.”
