The November issue of Country Extra is a special one. On page 35, you’ll find a keepsake 32-page section giving thanks for country, family, a bountiful land and the beauty of nature. On those pages we’ve paired heart-felt reader stories with amazing photography.

Ila Cox, for example, wrote about the role she played in World War II as the wife of a soldier overseas. She worked in a defense factory doing her part for the war effort. Creamy Vanilla Coffee

My husband and his friends would often buy a similar version of this creamy, vanilla-flavored beverage at a nearby coffee house. Because daily stops got to be expensive, I decided to try and make my own. This smooth sensation was the result.
