To those who know her, it probably comes as no surprise that Susan Davis won our Grand Prize. As busy as this high school German teacher is, you often find her cooking for friends and family in her Ann Arbor home.
The recipe came from her mother, she recalls. "Mom taught me to cook when I was in junior high and she went to work full-time."
Susan loves teaching, and has been doing it for 37 fulfilling years. Her favorite part of the job is "working with teens and helping them expand their traditional 'comfort zone.'"
Susan also enjoys gardening, quilting, biking...
and recipe contests. "This was another fun adventure,
and family and friends are very excited for me." |
