Grilled Jerk Chicken Wings
I’ve been making this recipe ever since I can remember...and every time I have a party. It’s so simple to fix, doesn’t take a lot of ingredients or time, and is always a favorite with my guests. You can change it up for different crowds by varying the seasoning for a mild to extra-spicy kick.

Meet the Winner |
Jamaican-born Caren Adams loves entertaining friends at home in Fontana, California, where her Grilled Jerk Chicken Wings are a long-standing favorite with guests.
Her winning recipe is one she watched her mother make at home in Jamaica before she came to this country as a teen. Her mouth-watering hot wings with aromatic jerk seasoning are a tradition in Jamaica, Caren explains. "Everyone can make them. There's no recipe needed."
If Caren is making the wings for her children, Sydney and Cameron, she will add a bit more brown sugar and a little soy sauce. If serving to husband Andy for dinner, she’ll add sides of sweet dumplings, plantain or Hawaiian bread— "something sweet or starchy to tame the fire," she explains.
And for those who can’t use a grill in the dead of winter?"Broil or bake them in the oven. You can do anything you want with food," she points out.

Keep Your Wings Warm |
When serving chicken wings and drumsticks on a buffet table, keep them in a covered slow cooker on low. The chicken will stay warm and moist for your dinner guests.
