Fresh Strawberries
I made the best strawberry shortcake today. I did it like my grandmother used to. I cut the pie crust in strips, sprinkled sugar on them, and baked until lightly crisp. Layered with mashed strawberries, whipped cream and topped with sliced strawberries. Yummy! —HomestyleAR, Recipes Forum
