Did you know? The American Heart Association recommends limiting added sugar to just 9 teaspoons (150 calories) each day for men and 6 teaspoons (100 calories) for women. To put it in perspective, a can of soda has about 8 teaspoons of added sugar. Added sugar includes honey, molasses, corn syrup, agave nectar, brown sugar, raw sugar, granulated sugar, etc.
