Helpful Healthy Tips

Studies show if you can see a food and it's within arm's reach, you're more likely to eat it (i.e. a bowl of chocolates on your desk). Use that to your advantage and keep fresh fruit in a decorative bowl on your desk instead for a quick, healthy snack.

Exercise still counts if you break it up into small chunks of time. If you have a hard time finding the time to exercise or think it's boring, try 20 minutes of cardio in the morning, 15 minutes of yoga in your office during lunch and 20 minutes of cardio at night.

If you have trouble staying on track, use your journal to hold yourself accountable. Every morning during breakfast jot down what you plan to eat throughout the day – meals, snacks and beverages – then check them off as you go!

“We started eating sliders instead of full-size hamburgers. I LOVE hamburgers and a slider is perfect. I also love tostados, so now we bake the corn tortillas and you would never know they aren't fried!”
