Featured recipe:
Lemon Chiffon Cake
This moist, airy cake was my dad's favorite. My mom revamped the original recipe to include lemons. I'm not much of a baker, so I don't make it very often. But it is well worth the efffort.

COOKBOOK CONNOISSEUR |
Meet This Month’s
Cookbook Connoisseur…Carolyn Kyzer |
As a new addition to The Cookbook Insider, we’ll introduce you to cookbook collectors from across the country...such as Carolyn Kyzer of Alexander Arkansas.
Carolyn estimates that she owns more than 260 cookbooks. “I have three full shelves in my kitchen,” she explains, “and more in the den and office. I collect them because I love to share recipes.”
When buying a cookbook, the retired high school counselor looks for books that use everyday ingredients, are easy to read and feature colorful photos. “Some of my favorites come from Taste of Home,” says Carolyn. “I have at least, 26 Taste of Home books, and have purchased several for my son and daughter-in-law.”
Even though her shelves are full of books, there are some recipes Carolyn turns to time and again. “One of my all-time favorites is a recipe for Mini Cherry Cheesecakes,” (http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Mini-Cherry-Cheesecakes) she states. “Give them a try, and I’m sure you’ll fall in love with them, too!”
Would you like to share your love of cookbook collecting? We’re looking for cookbook collectors to share their stories and photos with us. Email us your story!
