Autumn is not officially "in season" until September 23, but we're already experiencing some fall-like days and nights here in Wisconsin...and I'm ready for them. After a summer of salads and grilled entrees, the crisp autumn air inspires me to get back in the kitchen and bake everything from hearty casseroles to my favorite Whole Wheat Dinner Rolls.

Our big October/November issue will keep me busy baking from now through Thanksgiving.
