I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for spring! Sure, winter in Wisconsin isn’t quite over yet, but come March, we can’t wait to trade our heavy coats and sweaters for T-shirts and shorts. We’re also in the mood for the fresh flavors found in spring gardens—asparagus, rhubarb, new potatoes and more. If you’ve never tried rhubarb, the luscious Rhubarb Cake with Lemon Sauce in our new April/May issue will absolutely make you a fan.

The April/May issue also announces the winners in our recent Dream Kitchen contest and features a beautiful Alabama kitchen that is a canner’s dream come true!

Spring, of course, brings more than warm breezes and fresh veggies. It’s also a time of family celebrations, including Passover and Easter.
