Fire up the grill to try some of the outstanding recipes in Taste of Home June/July. I got a grill basket for my birthday recently and used it to make Grilled Greek Potato Salad. It’s so colorful and tastes great! I can vouch for the directions that say, “Serve hot or cold.” We loved the salad with warm potatoes the day I made it, and the chilled leftovers I took to work for lunch the next day were delicious.

The “Budget Cuts” grilling recipes deliver lots of great flavor for the money. My husband, Louie recommends the Teriyaki Grilled Chicken and I love the Grilled Country Style Ribs. If you like to grill, be sure to try these and the other flavorful recipes in this special feature.

My grandmother used to make red velvet cake, so America’s Birthday Cake brought back fond memories of family Fourth of July gatherings when I was a kid. The cake’s blueberry sauce is a new twist I know Grandma would have enjoyed.
