Summer is on its way and so is the latest issue of Taste of Home. This month, you’ll get recipes for easy potluck desserts, stress-free family dinners and 30 recipes for 99¢ or less.

More people than ever are growing their own vegetables—and tomatoes are among the most popular. The prize-winning tomato recipes in the June/July issue offer fabulous ways to serve them.

South-of-the-Border Caprese Salad, the Grand Prize winner, is so fresh and easy! My other personal favorites are the Mediterranean Tomato Bites (great for summer entertaining) and Country-Style Tomatoes (a simply delicious way to dress up big, juicy red slices). If you do any home canning or would like to try it, check out the Garden Tomato Relish recipe from the contest.
