A local winter storm warning got me thinking about soup—in particular the Holiday Tortellini Soup on page 74 in your December/January magazine. “Holiday” is appropriate in the name because the fresh green spinach and red tomato-based broth really look festive. The full-flavored soup was ready in less than an hour, and we were savoring it as the first flakes started to fall.

It’s been about a month since your December/January magazine arrived, and I’m sure the recipes and handy tips have helped to brighten the season.
