Dear $$firstname$$,
GREETINGS from the Taste of Home staff.
During the holidays, I had my grandkids over to help bake and decorate Christmas cookies—it was lots of fun and lots of mess! This was a first for Quinn, who is 2-1/2…and now he thinks we should bake every time he comes over.
It made me so happy to hear this, and I’m thinking we could start a year-round tradition. I’m expecting Quinn tomorrow morning. Let’s see…should we make snowflake cookies, some cute cupcakes or maybe a munchy snack mix? Food and family are such a heartwarming combination, as Taste of Home reflects.
Your February/March magazine is in the mail and will be arriving soon. When it does, you’ll see the Taste of Home Plus icon with several different features…and Plus means more for you!
The February/March issue focuses on delectable “comfort foods.” As our lives quiet down a bit after Christmas and New Year’s, it’s fun to put soups, casseroles and thick sandwiches on the menu. And then there’s whipping cream—it fits the comfort food theme just fine in rich recipes both sweet and savory.
In addition to the family pleasing fare you’ll find in the magazine, we saved some extra recipes just for you, including more comforting casseroles, treats made with whipping cream and
several stacked-high sandwiches. You’ll also find an additional Mom’s Best Meal menu and an easy Valentine’s Day meal for your sweeties. Bonus features include casserole tips from fellow readers, a primer on choosing and preparing beef and more.
Depending on where you live, your February/March magazine will arrive within 2 weeks. Meanwhile, you can start enjoying your Plus features right now!
