Start shucking that sweet corn and slicing that zucchini. The garden’s overflowing with good stuff, and these are the recipes to put it to use.

Dear NAME_FIRST,

I know I say it every year, but I feel like I blinked and somehow summer started winding down. Of course, our summers in Wisconsin are a bit on the shorter side, so I’d say it’s high time to live it up while the sun’s still shining! And for me, that means calling over my friends and family to gather around big platters of all things fresh, crunchy, juicy, cool and full of garden-bounty goodness.

Thankfully, the current issues of Taste of Home and Simple & Delicious don’t skimp on recipes loaded with the fruits and veggies I go wild for this time of year. I’m talking grilled pizza piled with crisp garden goodies, cool salads loaded with fresh sweet corn, cream puffs kissed with peachy sunshine, and a whole crop of fresh recipes that should make me a regular at the farmers market through the end of the season. I hope they’ll inspire you to whip up some homegrown happiness of your own, then kick back and devour every last moment of summer you can.

Keep those summer vibes going,

Emily Tyra, Editor
