Dear NAME_FIRST, |
When it comes to Super Bowl Sunday, I have to admit: Sometimes I care a little more about the food than the game. (Forgive me!) I can’t help it; when there’s a spread of amazing dips, cheesy casseroles, spiced-up chili and bacon-wrapped everything, it’s hard not to get excited about all that homemade goodness as halftime approaches. And this past Sunday, the February/March issues of Taste of Home and Simple & Delicious were well represented at my game-day party. We started things off with quick and cozy chili mac, beer-braised ham sandwiches, and then finished things off with chocolate peanut butter crunch bars. Even though the big game is over, you can still enjoy these FAN-tastic recipes all month long.
No matter who you rooted for—even if it was just for the yummy food—there’s still so much to cheer about. Check out my favorite recipes from this month to see what I’ll be rushing to put on my table. (February was made for that best-ever meat loaf. Trust me.)

Plan for Next Year: Cookies Recipe Contest |
It's never too early to get into the Christmas-cookie spirit! Time to whip, roll, dip and frost your way to the best Christmas cookies ever. We’re craving German chocolate whoopie pies and jammy Linzer cookies. And how ’bout surprise-inside treats, like snickerdoodles with a chai creme center and homemade fruit Newtons? Share those fun shapes, too: twists, tassies, crescents and wreaths. Ooh, and slice-and-bakes! Think lemon shortbreads ringed in sprinkles or peachy-pecan pinwheels. If you’re short on time, send your no-bake toasted coconut balls or mint-chocolate cheesecake bites. Our sweet tooths are ready. Send your best by March 20th! |
