Taste of Home Simple and Delicious Magazine
Dear NAME_FIRST,
I love September for so many reasons. We kick it off with barbecues and soaking up those last few days of summer fun, then close it out with boots, sweaters and cozy, spiced-up dishes to welcome fall. It’s the best of both worlds! It’s also a busy time of year for everyone. I may not be headed back to school, but here at Taste of Home, September means we’re working hard to polish up our upcoming holiday issues (which I’m so excited to share with you soon!). My job really is fun, but some days I come home and just want dinner to magically appear.

While the dishes you see in the current issues of Taste of Home and Simple & Delicious aren’t technically magic, many of them are the next best thing: speedy, short on ingredients and big on happy flavor. From sizzling skillets packed with late-summer veggies to saucy tacos with a side of sweet apple slaw, we’ve got your busy-day dinners covered.

Oh, and if you’ve got an apple-picking day planned this month, you’re gonna want to take a peek at our recipe for the best apple pie you’ve ever stuck a fork into. Trust me on this one.
Here’s to a fun fall,
Emily Tyra, Editor
