This Bread is Autumn Itself—Moist and Spicy, Chockful of Raisins and Nuts
Bake 50 to 60 minutese
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x5x3-inch loaf pan. In large bowl combine sugar, pumpkin, oil, eggs and water; blend well. Combine flour, soda, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger; stir into pumpkin mixture. Stir in raisins and nuts. Scrape into loaf pan. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan; cool on rack.
