Rich Chocolate made with organic cocoa imported from two countries. Smooth and creamy Unsweetened flavor – delicious by the glass – is the ideal replacement for regular milk. These are just the two newest flavors in the Pearl Soymilk line-up that are making people reconsider when and how they drink soymilk.
When Kikkoman set out to make soymilk a few years ago, we concentrated on making it taste good. After all, in order to get all the goodness that comes in every glass of soymilk, people needed to love drinking it! Our first four flavors have been a hit – drawing converts from everywhere. People who’ve never tried soymilk enjoy fresh, appealing taste, and seasoned soymilk drinkers switch to Pearl Soymilk to enjoy the delicious flavors.
It all started with Pearl Soymilk Original flavor - created to complement cereal and enjoy by the glass. Next came Creamy Vanilla, with the wholesomeness of authentic natural vanilla. Green Tea is the sophisticated flavor. Made with imported premium green tea powder, a hint of lemon and a bit of sweetness, it’s a perfect “pick-me-up” anytime of day. And finally, Tropical Delight, an exclusive blend of seven fruit and vegetable juices loaded with nutrients and perfect for kids – either alone or as a base for smoothies.
The best part is that every flavor of Pearl starts with organic soymilk made from whole non-GMO soybeans. To this we add proprietary blends of all natural premium flavorings that result in refreshingly enjoyable flavors. And every 8-oz. glass delivers 7 grams of soy protein and as much calcium as a glass of milk. Pearl Soymilk is also lactose-free and cholesterol-free making it easy for the whole family to drink.

You’re probably hearing a lot about soymilk these days. As more people become aware of the health benefits of soy, easy-to-consume products like soymilk are gaining in popularity.
In 2003, Kikkoman introduced Pearl Organic Soymilk. Made from whole organic soybeans and using natural and organic flavorings, Pearl has been increasing in appeal and acceptance every year. People enjoy drinking it just for the refreshment of it!
Pearl Soymilk is cholesterol-free and lactose free. It’s also low in saturated (bad) fat and is a good source of unsaturated (good) fat. And in every 8-ounce serving of Pearl there are 7 grams of soy protein. That’s important because in 1999, the FDA approved the following health claim for soy: A daily diet of 25 grams of soy protein as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol may reduce the risk of heart disease.
Little skittish about drinking Pearl Soymilk straight? Not a problem. Pearl is an excellent substitute for dairy milk in most recipes. You can work soymilk into your family’s diet scrumptiously with Cream of Mushroom Soup, Macaroni & Cheese and Banana Cream Pie. Ice creams, puddings and smoothies made with Pearl all pack a little extra benefit – as much calcium and more vitamins A, D and folate than whole milk.

Pearl Soymilk Supports Efforts to Fight Breast Cancer
This was the second year that Kikkoman International has sponsored Walks for Hope.
"Sampling Pearl Soymilk at these family-oriented events has been both successful
and rewarding," says Elaine Beatson, Manager, Consumer Services. "Breast cancer
survivors and their family and friends have been very enthusiastic of our support."
Throughout the year and culminating in October, the City of Hope Cancer Research Center
sponsors 5k walks to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. This year's walks,
held in 13 cities across the country raised millions of dollars due to the
efforts of nearly 40,000 walkers and runners. Thanks to all the men, women, kids
and dogs that came out this year. More information about City of Hope and Walks for
Hope is online at www.cityofhope.org.
Hope to see you next year! |
