Welcome back! Are you gearing up for the back-to-school season or still celebrating summer? This time of year, I love to have a few no-cook recipes on hand to keep the kitchen cool. But even on hot days, I find that I start thinking about fall and the awesome new recipes I can't wait to try. Whether you're interested in spending as little time in the kitchen as possible this month or you feel like cooking up a storm, there are tons of reader recipes in this Plus newsletter.

Speaking of cooking up a storm, we've all had a few kitchen mishaps from time to time. (For me, one of the worst ones involved accidently locking a baked squash in my oven for two days. I had to break the handle to get it out!) But sometimes the biggest kitchen fiascos teach us the most. What's the biggest blooper you've ever faced?
