The other day, as big wet snowflakes fell on my driveway, I couldn't help but smile. Nestled between the bushes in my front flower garden, I spotted small green and yellow buds trying to sprout. Seeing those first crocuses gave me hope. Spring is on its way!

Working on the April/May (5th Anniversary issue) of S&D has made me especially excited for the start of spring and its bright and colorful menus.
