Dear ##firstname[Friend]##,
##\keycode.IntroCopyContentHTML####\keycode.DonorContentGiftSubHTML##
I don't know how you feel about New Year's resolutions, but they get me a little down. I think part of the problem is that everyone I know, myself included, tends to resolve to lose something or give something up.
But this year, what if we all resolved to gain something, like a new skill, or new recipes to add to our list of favorites? You'll find plenty of those in this first newsletter of 2011, including healthy recipes for the Super Bowl and Valentine's Day.
As for me, the thing I've gained this year is the pleasure and privilege of being the new editor of Healthy Cooking. I've spent 20 years writing and editing books, magazines, and other media devoted to healthy living and eating, but few opportunities have been more exciting and joyful than steering Healthy Cooking into the next decade. I'm looking forward to sharing that joy with you, both in this newsletter and in our regular issues of the magazine.
Have a happy and healthy New Year!
Steve
