How about you? Are you making anything new this year? Let’s chat about it in our Facebook group on Black Friday. Hey, speaking of Black Friday… I just got the scoop on some awesome Shop Taste of Home deals coming up. First off, there’s another Flash Sale coming up TOMORROW! (November 16, 2018 in case you’re reading this late). Visit their site to see what $5 deals they have going on. This is a 24-hour sale, so don’t miss out. Message me right away if you have issues connecting. I’ll be posting other sales as they pop-up on our Facebook group so be sure to check in often. Recipe Contest Rundown Last Call for the Everyday Fresh Contest! You have until November 27, 2018 to get your freshest ever recipes submitted. Don’t be afraid to mish-mash flavors. Fresh figs pair up beautifully with goat cheese, pears and blue cheese are wonderful in a salad. Think outside the box, you’ve got a couple weeks left to come up with something to knock our socks off. The Best-Ever Baking Contest ends December 13, 2018. This deadline is coming up fast but you’re about to embark on the traditional holiday baking season. I have no doubts that your family is more than willing to be your official taste testers. Breakfast for Dinner Contest continues until January 25, 2019. This is a contest you can really sink your teeth into. Think about taquitos brimming with spicy chorizo and fluffy eggs or maybe bacon, egg and cheese on a chewy pretzel bun. You’ve got plenty of time to experiment. NEW: All Beefed-Up Contest started September 28, 2018 and runs through February 13, 2019. We want to see how you simmer, sear, grill and slow-cook this all-star ingredient to create your meatiest main-dish marvels. If your best recipe comes in at 10 ingredients or less, we want to know: where’s the beef? Last but not least, I have a new title. While that will bring plenty of exciting changes to my day it won’t change a thing for you. I’ll remain your wrangler, sending you monthly inspiration and helping with all your Taste of Home related needs. Happy cooking, my friends! Sue Stetzel PS: I’m generally in the office 9am to 5pm EST during the week, and I’ll do my best to respond to any messages during that time. |
