  Hello fellow Field Editors,

Are you staying warm? Holy cow—what a cold winter this has been! Perfect soup weather (and blankets and warm, fuzzy socks, too). If you’re looking to try a new soup recipe, take a peek at these. I’m planning to try Anything Goes Sausage Soup this weekend. Anyone have a favorite side they like with soup? I was thinking these No-Fuss rolls sound great. What would you make? Join the conversation in our Facebook group!

New Contest Alert!

Get your oven mitts ready! The Healthy Your Way contest is live. Gluten-free? Tell us about the baked goods, pastas and brunches everyone loves. Share your best heart-healthy dishes that keep sodium and fat in check, or show how you cut down on carbs and sugar with your most indulgent diabetic-friendly recipes. We’re on the hunt for awesome paleo and keto-friendly foods, too. Have a recipe with big flavors and big health benefits? Submit it! We want them all. You have until May 7th to get your recipes submitted. Be sure to take a minute and read the official rules. Be sure to check out the other active contests, too. Just a few weeks left to get in on the Christmas ones.

Recipe Hunters!

I have a couple requests for our recipe hunters. We’re looking for recipes on TasteOfHome.com that would make great videos. Recipes should be ooey, gooey, melty, yummy and pretty simple. Recipes that make you swoon—those are the ones we’re looking for.

We’re also looking for healthy lunch recipes. These should be portable, eat at your desk options. These recipes should have no more than 400 calories per serving and less than 12 g of fat. Easy on the carbs, heavy on fresh vegetables and fruits.

All of these recipes need to come from TasteOfHome.com, and the images should be well lit and appetizing—if you wouldn’t see it on your Pinterest or Instagram feed, skip it. Submit links for either of these requests by using this form. The form is pretty self-explanatory but if you have a question, shoot me a message.

One more thing: I have a favor. Please use the email fieldeditors@tasteofhome.com to contact me about problems you’re having with your subscription, changes of address or web account issues, especially during non-business hours. These messages are as important me as they are to you and I don’t want them getting lost in a shuffle of other personal messages on Facebook. This will work to keep us both on top of anything that might come up.

Happy cooking, my friends!

Here’s what we’re looking to cook up this month:
Skillet Sensations
Topic 1:
Skillet Sensations:
Our skillets work hard on the stovetop and in the oven. What do you use yours for? We want your skillet burrito bowls, chicken and sweet potato gnocchi, or maybe fried rice with a Southwest kick. Send your spicy ranch chicken and rice, and hearty pastrami hash topped with sunny-side-up eggs, too. Share here.
Extreme Dishes
Topic 2:
Extreme Dishes:
Think mile-high Dagwood sandwiches, candy-filled brownies, French fries piled so high with saucy pork that you can’t tell the fries from the toppings. And milkshakes so full of the good stuff they’re mistaken for sundaes. The bigger, bolder, more outrageous, the better! Submit here.
Look ’n’ Cook Dishes
Topic 3:
Look ’n’ Cook Dishes:
Think recipes so simple you don’t need to read them to make them. Breakfast sausage taquitos, veggie bowls with grilled chicken or skewers loaded with salmon and peppers. Ricotta toast topped with berries or flatbread pizza with spinach and tomatoes. Share your simple “see it, make it” recipes here.
