We have some exciting news to share with you. Beginning on Oct. 1, our Culinary Specialists will bring their famous blend of energy, enthusiasm and love of cooking to you in your own home! We are thrilled to introduce our Taste of Home Cooking School Online courses. We'll be launching with five of our most requested and talked-about topics: Weeknight Dinners in 30 Minutes or Less; Comfort Food Classics; Slow Cooker Favorites; Everyday Healthy Cooking; and Tips, Tricks & Techniques From the Test Kitchen.

Dana Elliott, our first featured Culinary Specialist, will use her well-known mix of expertise and high energy to deliver a unique experience that let's you cook along with her while watching a recipe video or high-quality step-by-step photo instructions. She'll also share some cool tips about ingredients and techniques along the way and give you the guidance to make Taste of Home recipes with confidence.

TOH: What's your favorite part about being a Field Editor?
AS: Helping others enjoy food and cooking as much as I do.

TOH: Has being a Field Editor changed how you cook in your own kitchen?
AS: I measure a little more carefully so I can document my recipes and submit them. Notice I said a little more. I don't typically bake!

TOH: Do you have any tips for your fellow Field Editors?
AS: Stay friendly and helpful. Be gentle in giving advice. Always say something positive in your review of a recipe online; the recipe might not be suited to your taste but another reader might enjoy it.

TOH: What's your most-loved Taste of Home recipe, and why do you love it?
AS: That's almost too difficult to answer, but since we have enjoyed Cajun Shrimp Skillet four times since it was published, that's a winner. Fresh Green Beans and Garlic, as well as Dilled New Potatoes, have been on our table several times as well.
