Hello, Field Editors
Thanks to all for continuing to rate and review recipes online. It really helps to know what types of recipes you like to make and gives our Taste of Home editors a good glimpse of just what's going on in your kitchen.
Also, thanks to those of you who took the Field Editor Survey. We've received over 125 responses! The survey will be open for another week, so please take a few minutes and let us know what you think about the newsletter, recipes and tasteofhome.com. We'll be sure to share everyone's feedback in an upcoming newsletter.

Now's the time to fill up those crumbles, cobblers, crisps, buckles and slab pies with all the sun-kissed fresh fruit you can get your hands on. Go ahead and grab bunches of sweet and sour red cherries, peaches or nectarines and pints of ripe and juicy mixed berries. Meet Jen Stowell!
TOH: What's your favorite part about being a Field Editor?
JS: My favorite part of being a Field Editor is getting to take part in a magazine I've loved for so many years. When I was little, I'd go through my grandma's issues and clip out recipes I'd want us to try. And I'd always read the names of the Field Editors in Taste of Home and wonder how they got to be so lucky. Now 20+ years later, I get to read my very own name in Taste of Home!
TOH: Has being a Field Editor changed how you cook in your own kitchen?
JS: Now that I'm a Field Editor, I definitely pay more attention to recipes that I try. I'm always thinking about how I can tweak this or that and what I can add to make a recipe easier to prepare and a little more family-friendly, which to me is what Taste of Home recipes are all about.
TOH: Do you have any cooking, baking or general food tips you'd like to share
with your fellow Field Editors?
JS: One of my favorite tips is for summer-fresh sweet corn on the cob. When cooking the corn, add a tablespoon or two of sugar to the boiling water. I think it helps bring out the corn's natural sweetness.
TOH: What's your most loved Taste of Home recipe, and why do you love it?
JS: Choosing a favorite Taste of Home recipe is like trying to pick my favorite kid! But one of our family's favorites is Crowd-Pleasing Taco Salad. It's quick to make and I typically have all the ingredients on hand. Plus, it tastes delicious and is a nice change for taco night. We love the crunch of the chips and the cool, creamy dressing.
