"As a busy stay-at-home mom of twins, I'm all about creating simple recipes for my family that combine fresh ingredients with those items I most likely already have in my pantry.

Planning meals ahead is key for me; I find it a great time, money and stress saver. Just after grocery shopping, I chop up veggies and other ingredients that I can prepare in advance. I'll also cook up a pound of chicken breasts to have on hand for quick weeknight meals and lunches. They're great to slice up and toss into salads, mix into pastas, or turn into a tasty chicken salad.

I'm a big slow cooker fan and love that it only takes a few minutes to pull a recipe together and let cook low and slow all day with no fuss. There's nothing better than having a fabulous supper all ready for you and your loved ones at the end of a hectic day.
