We have two assignments for you. Both involve photos, so pull out your cameras. And have fun!

A new feature debuts in the December/January issue of the magazine called Homemade Smiles. It will appear on the last page, replacing our celebrity feature. We’ll show off includes photos of readers with favorite recipes from tasteofhome.com. Your task is to find your favorite chocolate recipe on tasteofhome.com, make it and then take a picture of yourself or someone else enjoying it. We need a nice closeup shot of the person or persons holding up the chocolate treat and SMILING! And please reach out to those in your community and ask them to participate, too. But remember to include the name of the recipe from tasteofhome.com. To submit, go to tasteofhome.com/recipeswap.
2. We’d love to see some fun photos of kids in the kitchen putting together Halloween treats to feature in our Kids in the Kitchen pages. Take a look at this photo from the October/November issue for an idea of what we’d like to see. Plus we’re desperate for fun Halloween recipes. Please send your recipes and photos to editors@tasteofhome.com and put Kids in the Kitchen in the subject line.
