We’ve made some changes in our upcoming October magazine. Be sure to take a look and let us know what you think. As part of our effort to show off your expertise and interests, we need your help. • It’s time to update your photos. Please send us a nice head and shoulders shot that you would be proud to see in our magazine. (No sunglasses, please!) Or if you’re feeling creative, include a fun photo of you in the kitchen wielding a whisk or brandishing a skillet. The best pictures have a plain background. (We don’t want a potted plant looking as if it’s growing out of your head!) If you do send us a fun shot, make sure to also include that basic head and shoulders closeup too. Smile! Then send photos to: fieldeditors@tasteofhome.com with “New Photo” in the subject line. • What’s cooking in your community? Answer these questions for us and we may use them in Taste of Home magazine when we Spotlight our field editors. Send the info to: fieldeditors@tasteofhome.com with “Spotlight” in the subject line. 1. What’s the new food or drink or party theme or kitchen gadget that’s all the rage in your area? Details, please. 2. Share your favorite 3- or 4-ingredient holiday recipe and/or a fun idea for a holiday centerpiece. It can be Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day…your choice. • We’re hungry…and looking for recipes. Let’s see your recipes for: 1. Seafood Boil—Fish, corn, potatoes? Lobster/crab, onions? Shrimp, garlic, what? Other recipes? 2. Pesto. Any interesting new versions of pesto and/or recipes that use pesto? 3. Ice Cream—Homemade variations plus ways to use purchased ice cream. Think about ice cream sandwiches, malts, cakes, sundaes. Send the recipes to: fieldeditors@tasteofhome.com with “Hungry” in the subject line. Would love to hear from you, Jeanne Ambrose, Editor, Taste of Home Erik Bergstrom, Web Community Manager ----------------- This email was sent to: ##emailaddress## Copyright 2011 Reiman Media Group, LLC.
