Where has the summer gone? Here we are on the doorstep of September, and many of us at Taste of Home are still trying to cram in one more garden project, road trip or backyard barbecue. Meanwhile, the Taste of Home staff is writing about Thanksgiving and testing recipes for the February/March issue! Speaking of Thanksgiving, the October/November issue is still a month away, but wait till you see the scrumptious holiday dishes we've lined up...including two ways to prepare your turkey and some of the best cheesecakes you'll ever taste!

Hope those of you who participated in our first on-line Scavenger Hunt had fun finding the hidden millipede. Names of those who found the plastic bug in one of our food photos were put in a basket, and five winners were drawn.
