Though it's not officially summer yet (June 21 is the day summer begins), it's certainly beginning to feel like it around here. In my own yard, I have my veggies in place, containers planted and a new daisy garden started this year. And I love all the bird activity I'm seeing around the area.

In the July issue of Birds & Blooms Extra (arriving in your mailbox soon), we give some great reader solutions about one of birding's biggest problems—birds flying into windows. Check out that issue for tips or go to our blog for a quick and easy solution right now! In the meantime, here are a few more features to get you ready for summer!
